Zoom Workshop: Letting go of our beloved buildings?

Our buildings connect us to our history, and are special and unique spaces that provide a home for our communities. But with these blessings come the challenges of maintaining older buildings, and adapting them for today’s needs. This is especially challenges for congregations who are now smaller than when their buildings were built. What if the space we need to live our mission no longer matches the building we own? Could our building find a new calling?

Rev. Darcey Line, whose congregation recently sold their historic building, will facilitate. Rev. Rosemarie Newberry, Congregation President Katie Replogle, and Rev. Ann Marie Alderman will share their stories about selling their congregations’ buildings. Then there will be time for us to share our stories, to ask our questions and to provide resources and support to one another. Here is the event registration page:
