Act Now for a Peaceful World: Observing the International Day of Peace.

The International Day of Peace, also known as World Peace Day, is observed globally every September 21st. It was established in 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly to promote peace and non-violence across nations and communities.  The theme this year selected by the United Nations is “Act Now for World Peace.”  We’re looking at the ways acts of all sizes help promote peace across the world and how it is all connected.
