Dear Members and Friends,
This year’s pledge drive will be different than normal, because everything at the present time is so very different than normal. We have moved all our services and events online; focusing on our worship services, social hour, and working on creating other opportunities for connection and care. Please let us know how we can support you and your spirit during this difficult time. We are working together to adapt our ministry as we all are “sheltering at home” to stay safe and keep others healthy.
To keep our priorities on caring and connecting, we won’t be having our full-scale pledge drive this year. We also know that finances may be questionable now. You may be one of the many people whose job is on the line, or you may have already lost income. So we understand if you are not able to decide how much money you can afford to pledge, or whether you can pledge any amount at all. If that is the case, we understand and are here for you, as your faith community.
But if you are able to continue your current pledge for another year, we would greatly appreciate it. Or if you have the capacity to help us compensate for those who can’t support us now, and can give more, that will be greatly appreciated.
This community is important to us – through this pandemic and for all that comes after.
Please contact UUCC Treasurer, Marion Lutz, 7 Holley Dr., Homer, NY 13077. Or send an email to [email protected] with your pledge information.
Envisioning better times ahead for all of us,
Marion Lutz, Treasurer
