Our January Song #347: Gather the Spirit” Was written by UU singer-songwriter Jim Scott, who at last count has visited more than 600 Unitarian Universalist (UU) Churches over a span of three decades. He’s very passionate about the earth, and was a co-founder of the Green Sanctuary movement, and editor of the Earth and Spirit Songbook. He wrote 8
of the hymns in our grey and teal hymnals, so you’ve heard his music for sure!
Like all artists and musicians, Jim has had to find new ways to make music during the pandemic. You can join Jim in concert on Wednesday nights at 8PM Eastern Time via Facebook.com/jimscottmusic and Youtube.com/jimscottmusic.
We will sing the song each Sunday, so that if it is new to you it will be familiar by the end of the month.
